Review

Avi Creator is a video tool that allows you add images and icons to create multimedia presentations with AVI format (Audio Video Interleavewith). You can playback with any video player. The supported image formats are bitmap (BMP) and icon image file format.

To add pictures to the AVI, click on the Add button or click on File menu and click on the option "Add pictures to project". Select the images (only with bitmap format) or Icon files you wish to add and click on the Open button. The images you add will appear on the list and you can preview each image to the right of the window. To delete pictures, click on the file in the list and click on the Delete button or on File menu and click on the option "Delete pictures from project". You can modify the scale and rate of your AVI file by typing in a value in the respective text box. Finally click on AVI menu and click on "Create AVI". Write down a name and a path for the file and click on Save. Also you can test the presentation by clicking on Test AVI button and it will be opened the default video player. System requirements: Windows 95, NT, 98, 2000, XP.
Advantages
  • It is very simple to use.
  • Just add pictures and create the AVI file.
Disadvantages
  • You can only import images with format BMP. You cannot add audio to the multimedia file. Sometimes the frame appears stretched or squeezed horizontally when the file is played back.
